Configuring Company Settings

2010/05/11 - To update Company Settings go to TOP MENU > SYSTEM SETTINGS > COMPANY SETTINGS On the Company Settings page you will see that demo data has been loaded for you to guide you with suitable values that must be captured. By default demo data is loaded for all the values and you are not required to "ADD" new company settings. Ideally you should "EDIT" each setting value one by one according to your requirements. Its highly recommended that you do not leave out any Company Setting values. Below table shows you the definition of each Company Setting and also example values:

CreditLimitThreshold This is maximum Live Credits that CRMBill will automatically apply towards Open Invoices. If a customer has more then this value then it will not be applied. This is useful when you want manually apply payment when Live Credit is quite a huge amount so you can verify that if the Live Credits are valid. 400
EmailImporterInterval This is time interval in minutes for emails to be imported from the email accounts that you have setup into relevant Help desk departments. For hosted CRMBill you don't have to change this as this is fixed at server level for at 15 Minutes. 15

ResetAllowTransferInterval This value is in Number of Days and is used only for Uniforum Registry. Please enter a numeric value. If you have set 'Allow Transfer' customer field to 'TRUE' to allow domain transfer tickets to be accepted then this field be set to 'False' to decline Domain Transfer tickets automatically after these number of days. Usually this should be set to 7 days because its more then enough to allow domain transfer for co.za domains. 7
